Job Description

We are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist with experience in social media, content creation, and email marketing. This person must be able to demonstrate knowledge of this roles' requirements and show examples of content that they have created.

As a marketing specialist you will own the management of all social media accounts, develop new content in the form of photography and video, and manage email marketing. This role is expected to manage these tasks from idea to execution with little direction. In addition to these responsibilities the marketing specialist will assist the COO with additional marketing, strategy and planning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI
• Manage all social media accounts
• Develop content calendar and posting schedules
• Stay ahead of social media trends and adjust content as needed
• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Create owned content to post on all social media channels and in email marketing in the form of photography and video
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Manage influencer and affiliate programs
• Manage all email marketing tasks in-line with marketing calendar, objectives and goals
• Manage email flows and designs

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience with social media, email marketing and content creation
• Have an understanding of email automations and flows
• Be able to manage tasks from idea to execution
• Hands on experience in content management
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Familiarity with web design
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and multitasking skills

This position is for a full-time contractor. It is a remote position for someone based in Philadelphia, PA as there will be in-person meetings with the team on a monthly basis. We are actively interviewing for this position with a September 1, 2023 start date.
