Job Description

Our team is looking for passionate and outgoing canvassers to go door-to-door and speak with voters in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. In this position, you will use systems such as MiniVAN to canvass neighborhoods and communities to collect research data. This campaign is committed to electing Democrats through grassroots efforts modeled after 1-on-1 conversations, research, and ACTION!

This position is an entry-level position with no experience required. Training will be provided. All applicants must have access to reliable transportation. Flexible schedules and multiple shifts are available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Door-to-door canvassing
• Walking neighborhoods and talking to voters at their doors
• Accurate collecting data using MiniVAN on a daily basis
• Communicate daily with your supervisor about your shifts and availability
• Daily check-ins with the supervisor
• Other tasks as assigned by the Field Director and Field Organizers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills
• Be honest, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Comfortable with technology and able to accurately record data
• Route planning and critical thinking skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18+ years old
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Smartphone required with access to data usage
• Access to reliable transportation
• Available 12+ hours a week
