PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Viejas is San Diego’s newest 4-Diamond Casino & Resort and we want you to be a part of it!  We are looking for an experienced and talented person to join our Entertainment & Production Team as a Production Technician.  You will have an opportunity to operate all production equipment at Viejas Casino, Resort, Outlet Center, and offsite venues which include lighting, sound, media, laser projection system, pyrotechnic controls, and stage design. 

Job functions include:

• Testing, maintenance and safety checks on technical production equipment
• Transporting, installing , and connecting entertainment electrical distribution systems
• Setting up and operating lighting systems and effects
• Setting up, testing, and adjusting audio systems before and during events
• Operating video recorders and projection
• Setting up and operating laser projection equipment
• Installing, operating, and maintaining pyrotechnics
• Construction and break down of concert stage design

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1-3 years plus of hands on experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• California driver license is required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in show control systems, lighting, sound, media equipment, and laser
• Knowledge of rigging, pyrotechnics, computer systems, and electrical systems
