  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for defining, planning, and application support activities for Network Security IAM applications including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation, training, and script writing. 

    • Implement and support Quantum Secure SAFE, Cyber-Ark, C-Cure 9000, and Genetec Security Center applications for NSIAM 
    • Responsible for configuration, maintenance, and restoration of building access control system infrastructure 
    • Tier II/III Troubleshooting and resolution of end-user issues across all NSIAM applications and tools 
    • Advanced hands-on technical support is provided across a broad range of technical areas 
    • Associates’s degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering related field is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. 
    • Experience with web-based applications and Web application servers ( Windows Server 2008R2+, IIS, etc) 
    • Competency in relational database structures and queries, particularly SQL is required 
    • Experience with process documentation and process documentation tools (such as Visio) is required 
    • Programming language experience such as C, C++, Visual Basic or Java is a plus. 
    • 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience.  This position may require being part of an after hours work or on call rotation and may require periodic night or weekend work.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    • High School diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree in related discipline preferred.
    • One to three years of previous related experience required.
    • Must possess valid State Driver’s License, and acceptable driving record.
    • Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition.
    • Knowledge of basic computer related skills such as using the internet, and e-mail software.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
    • Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
    • Listens well and retains instructions; accepts constructive feedback from supervisor.
    • A track record of being consistent with attendance and prompt arrival at work and meetings.
    • Detail oriented, and possesses the ability to read and interpret street and road maps.
    • Ability to prepare and follow a delivery schedule.
    • Ability to follow standard safety procedures and regulations.
