    POSITION OVERVIEW Global Strategic Sourcing responsibility includes assurance of supply, superior cost management and uncompromising stewardship in support of our internal & external customers. The Sourcing Analyst will perform sourcing transactional work in all H.B. Fuller ERP systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation and maintenance of outline agreements and info records, PO price updates, invoice discrepancy resolution, and management of vendor master data (i.e. interface with respective MDM teams to ensure accurate and complete master data). Sourcing Analyst will also have additional support responsibilities to include a variety of project-related work related to procurement data. This includes, but is not limited to, developing quantitative methods to drive actionable insights and outcomes from sourcing data. Focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and availability of sourcing data to support fact-based decision making and to gain competitive advantage. Will report to a more senior member of the sourcing team and support the global team.

    PRIMARY DUTIES 0%-20% Sourcing 30%- 60% Analytics 20%-60% Transactional 0-100% Systems and Processes

    • Transactional: Create and update outline agreements, info records, and PO pricing. Resolve invoice discrepancies and provide system support. Develop and use scripts to update transactional records where possible to improve efficiency. • Sourcing Support: Provide needed data to Sourcing Manager’s to enable development, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring of sourcing strategies (and associated outcomes). Understand sourcing data associated with all legacy systems. Leverage and synthesize large volumes and variety of data to drive high value insights into the business. First line of contact with plants and suppliers to resolve payment issues, identification of preferred suppliers and purchasing channel compliance, and volume tracking for rebates against contracts for compliance with business commitments.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences, Computer Science, or related Degree. • Strong desire and innate capability to learn. • Skills: strong communication, interpersonal, and math skills. • Training Provided: Basic sourcing training and detailed policy training, specific system training, and any training specific to the role required for proficiency. • Demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies: • Responsive to Change Refocuses efforts in a positive “how can we get this done?” manner. • Individually accountable for results. Focuses on work effort that is strategically aligned and has impact. • Models collaboration & commitment. Focuses on team success before individual success. • Demonstrates operational excellence.     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences, Computer Science, or related Degree. • 2 plus years’ experience in reporting and data visualization. • Exposure to visualization, coding (SQL, R, Python, Hadoop/Hive), database architecture, data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning and collaboration with business partners. • Strong problem solving and analytical skillsets.
