As the Quality Assurance Technician , you will develop and maintain a Quality Control Program based upon industry standards and best practices, tailored appropriately to the specific requirements of the SOW and Government/contractor standards, procedures, and practices. You will interface directly with functional area managers, subcontractors, and Government Quality Assurance (including QA evaluators). Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing continuous improvement to successfully perform contract requirements and achieve high-quality customer satisfaction across all ATLAS service areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the performance and all Contract Data Deliverables (CDRLs).
- Establishes and maintains the Quality Control Inspection File.
- Establishes and maintains Key Process Documentation, to include SOPs, work instructions, schematics flow diagrams and other process-related data items.
- Develops and implements a process for confirming that all contract data deliverables (CDRLs) are accurately prepared and submitted on schedule.
- Provides technical QC expertise.
- Monitors and evaluates quality trends and issues.
- Acts independently from the functional elements of the organization.
- Exercises independent authority to contact our corporate Quality Director if quality deficiencies are not corrected in a timely manner.
- Responsible for all corrective action tracking from inspections, internal audits, as well as external auditors
- Ensures Quality Program includes executive management involvement; and defines responsibilities, authorities, and interrelationships workforce; outlines comprehensive documentation, QC measures, inspection program, internal audits, personnel training, and master file of QA/QC inspections (performed, scheduled, results, dates/details of corrective actions).
- Implements and maintains the procedures of policies relating to the project’s Quality Program.
- Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of site-specific plans/procedures in support of day-to-day operations.
- Coordinates process development for internal and joint/customer processes.
- Facilitates the development, collection, and reporting of operational performance metrics and conducts trend analysis to monitor operational execution to ensure contract performance standards and requirements are maintained.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with major related to job duties.
- At least five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Experience with root cause analysis software tools
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
- ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training, desired
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Must be self-sufficient in work processing, spreadsheets, graphing, database, presentation, and project management software.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
- Industry Standard for O&M and Construction basic
