    As a Nurse Assistant Apprentice, you¿ll play a vital role in supporting patient care under the guidance of Registered Nurses and licensed clinicians. Your work ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.     • Assist in meeting the safety and comfort needs of patients under the direction of an RN or licensed clinician.
    • Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
    • Respond to emergent situations following established procedures.
    • Participate in ongoing education and skill development to enhance patient care.
    • Uphold the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.

    What You Will Need

    _ Required Qualifications_

    • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
    • Enrollment in the HFHS Nurse Assistant Apprenticeship Program recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL).
    • Completion of all program testing, exams, and competencies within the designated timeframe.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Physical ability to lift, carry, transfer, and move patients as needed.
    • BLS Heart Saver Certification during apprenticeship.
