Job Summary of Director of Surgical Services
- Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Surgical Services in Round Rock, Texas for a level 2 trauma center that sees patients in the Williamson and surrounding counties. As a leader in the region, the trauma center provides leading-edge care in Cardiac Services, Emergency and Trauma Care, Surgical Services, Orthopedics, and Joint Replacements. The hospital is a 171-bed facility and the goal of the hospital is to provide exceptional care for all patients. The Director of Surgical Services leads the perioperative team by focusing on safe patient care while effectively managing operations. The Director of Surgical Services has 24/7 responsibility for their departments
Requirements for Director of Surgical Services
- BSN required
- MHA, MSN, MBA, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Surgical Services, preferably OR nursing required
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
