Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for ICU and PCU operations
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policy, and regulatory requirements
Drive quality outcomes, patient safety, and staff engagement across both units
Lead interdisciplinary collaboration for continuity of care and safe discharge planning
Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff while building strong retention and engagement culture
Manage budgets, staffing, equipment, and resource allocation
Partner with hospital-wide leaders on initiatives for safety, service, and patient experience
Qualifications
Required
Active RN license in Florida or Compact state
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU leadership experience at the Manager level in acute care
Nursing Diploma or ADN; BSN strongly preferred
NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire)
BLS (within 30 days), ACLS (within 6 months), PALS or ENPC (within 6 months)
Preferred
5+ years of progressive ICU/PCU leadership experience
BSN or MSN in Nursing Leadership/Administration
Demonstrated success in staff development, quality metrics, and regulatory readiness

Competitive salary package: $79,000 – $110,000/year
