_ GENERAL SUMMARY:_

As a Nursing Manager for our Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, you will lead a dynamic healthcare team while advancing your career in clinical leadership and strategic management. This is a pivotal role where you'll drive excellence in patient care delivery across multiple sites, partnering with nursing professionals, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and organizational leadership to shape the future of women's health services.

_ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:_

• Strategic Clinical Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing nursing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and clinical excellence across all assigned departments and sites.
• Quality & Innovation Champion: Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, quality enhancement projects, and innovative care delivery models that elevate patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Champion Service Excellence programs and process redesign efforts that demonstrate measurable impact.
• Collaborative Partnership: Build and maintain strong partnerships with nursing staff, physicians, allied health professionals, and organizational leadership to ensure seamless, evidence-based patient care aligned with Henry Ford Medical Group and Henry Ford Health standards.
• Fiscal Stewardship: Partner with clinic administration to manage departmental budgets, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial performance while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
• Professional Development: Empower staff through mentorship, professional development opportunities, and the implementation of creative, evidence-based care delivery models that inspire a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all patient care delivery adheres to departmental protocols, Henry Ford Medical Group policies, and Henry Ford Health procedures while maintaining regulatory compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

_ EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:_

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field required.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five (3-5) years of progressively more responsible experience demonstrating leadership skills in a clinical setting required. Some examples include Charge Nurse Duties; Leadership of special projects such as Service Excellence teams; Quality Improvement initiatives, Clinic Process Redesign.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage complex clinical, administrative, and interpersonal problems.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Maintains professional competency through review of current literature, attendance at educational programs, and participation in professional organizations.

_ CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:_

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
