Registered Nurse Manager – Trauma ICU

The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified registered nurse for the trauma operating room. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:
- $77,000 to $115,000 depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:
- Shifts: Full time days, no weekends, no call!
- Number of ICU Trauma Beds: 26
- Types of Services: Level I – Trauma, Open Hearts, Comprehensive Stroke Program, will be adding ECMO
- The Nursing Manager provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients in individual units.
- Responsibilities include fiscal, human resources, risk management and operational functions.
- Interpreting EKG rhythms, Vasoactive and Cardiac IV medications, Ventilator management
- MediTech documentation including visual flow sheet, Arterial and Venous blood draws, Obtaining 12-lead EKGs
Job Requirements:
- Kansas Registered Nurse (In good standing)
- Must have BSN, or willingness to obtain BSN within reasonable amount of time from hire date (Facility will pay for candidate to obtain BSN)
- 3 Years of experience in critical care nursing (ICU, PACU, OR, ED)
- Some leadership experience required (will consider CNC experience)
- BLS and ACLS certification at time of hire
- Strong critical care experience, leadership abilities and teaching/rounding abilities
