    Registered Nurse Manager – Trauma ICU

    Our Client: Our Client is a full-service healthcare provider located in Wichita, KS.

    The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified registered nurse for the trauma operating room. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

    • $77,000 to $115,000 depending on experience
    • $7,500 sign on bonus

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Shifts: Full time days, no weekends, no call!
    • Number of ICU Trauma Beds: 26
    • Types of Services: Level I – Trauma, Open Hearts, Comprehensive Stroke Program, will be adding ECMO
    • The Nursing Manager provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients in individual units.
    • Responsibilities include fiscal, human resources, risk management and operational functions.
    • Interpreting EKG rhythms, Vasoactive and Cardiac IV medications, Ventilator management
    • MediTech documentation including visual flow sheet, Arterial and Venous blood draws, Obtaining 12-lead EKGs

    Job Requirements:

    • Kansas Registered Nurse (In good standing)
    • Must have BSN, or willingness to obtain BSN within reasonable amount of time from hire date (Facility will pay for candidate to obtain BSN)
    • 3 Years of experience in critical care nursing (ICU, PACU, OR, ED)
    • Some leadership experience required (will consider CNC experience)
    • BLS and ACLS certification at time of hire
    • Strong critical care experience, leadership abilities and teaching/rounding abilities
