Job Summary
The Nurse/Office Manager is a dual-role position responsible for providing excellent IV administration and overseeing the operational management of the IV Lounge. This position ensures high-quality patient care through IV, IM, and SC therapy while managing personnel, inventory, compliance, and daily business operations. Days/Hours of Operation Wednesday through Monday (6 days a week, closed on Tuesdays). Hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities:
Conduct brief medical assessments before IV, IM, and SC therapy.
Administer IV, IM, and SC therapies while ensuring patient safety and consent compliance.
Monitor patient responses, document vital signs, and modify treatment plans if needed.
Educate patients on treatments and wellness recommendations.
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure stock levels are adequate, checking expiration dates and discarding expired supplies per protocol.
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities: Personnel Management:
Hire, onboard, and train nursing and paramedic staff.
Maintain employee scheduling, including callout calendars and shift assignments.
Supervise staff performance, provide retraining when necessary, and handle personnel concerns.
Inventory & Supplies Management:
Perform weekly inventory checks and place orders for medical supplies and medications.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of medications per regulatory guidelines.
Payroll & Financial Oversight:
Track employee work hours, including tips.
Maintain financial records related to inventory and operational costs.
Policies & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health regulations (OSHA, HIPAA).
Keep policies, procedures, and training manuals up to date, submitting necessary changes to administration before implementation.
Maintain facility cleanliness and oversee opening/closing procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
RN, Paramedic, LPN II with an active Louisiana or Multistate License.
5+ years of paramedic or nursing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of IV therapy and wellness treatments.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
Ability to lift and pull as needed.
Strong visual acuity, auditory skills, and manual dexterity required.
