About the Role:

Atlas Medical Consultants is looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Bakersfield, CA. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols

Prescribe medications, therapies, and follow-up care in accordance with state regulations

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the EMR/EHR system

Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options

Monitor and manage chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and post-procedural care

Requirements:

Active Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty)

Current California NP licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program

DEA registration and prescriptive authority in the state of California

1+ years of clinical NP experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds encouraged to apply

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems

Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

BLS/ACLS certification required
