e are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assitant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients, focusing on both preventive and acute health needs. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Duties
Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens according to established protocols.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Collaborate with physician to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited program.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
Experience working with children is highly desirable.
Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation is preferred.
Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) processes is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to patient care settings.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
Ability to speak Spanish fluently is preferred
