About the Role:

CardioClinic in Katy, TX is looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated cardiovascular care team. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations for cardiovascular conditions

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions in collaboration with attending cardiologists

Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, and lab work

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols

Prescribe medications and manage pharmacological therapies for cardiac patients

Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease management, and preventive care

Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and ancillary staff

Requirements:

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas (APRN)

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program

Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AGPCNP-BC)

Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or a related clinical specialty preferred

Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and cardiovascular diagnostic studies

Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient education skills

DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
