Job Description

Pain Management Practice is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our group.

The nurse practitioner will attend clinic and job description is as follow but not limited to:

· Performs physical exams, writes orders, and interprets diagnostic procedures including, but not limited to x-rays, laboratory testing, magnetic resonance imaging, etc.

· Utilizes prescriptive authority under the direction of physician in accordance with state and federal laws.

· Instructs patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, treatment, and medication.

· Maintains records, writes orders and progress notes in patient charts as to status, treatments and procedures.

· Provides follow-up health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established with physicians.

· Communicates with physicians, patients and the family members of patients concerning patient care.

Required:

· One year of experience required.

· Current licensing as a Registered Nurse Practitioner by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas and certification by a recognized certified body for nurse and recognition by the Board of Nurse Examiners as a Nurse Practitioner.

· Strong computer skills
