About the Role
KARE CENTER in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary and/or specialty care, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure exceptional health outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations for patients across a wide range of ages and conditions
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical best practices
Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices
Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on consultations and test results
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and organizational standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
National board certification (AANP or ANCC)
Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1-2 years of NP clinical experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($95,000 - $130,000 annually)

Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-person position based at KARE CENTER in Ann Arbor, MI. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday with some flexibility. KARE CENTER is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture where every team member can thrive.
This is an urgent care with primary care. The urgent care treats patients of all ages. The primary care is for adult patients only, by appointment only.
