Job Summary
We are seeking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide gynecological services to include woman care, annual Pap smears, Pelvic exam and health education, STD testing, contraception counseling and prenatal and postpartum as well as promote good physical examinations, interpreting lab test and overseeing patients health. You'll be both health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in one o the following Nurse practitioner specialties: Women's health. Physician ASSISTANT/ Nurse Practitioner, you'll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem solving skills and communication ability are important. Responsibilities
Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their medical records
Order and study diagnostic test (blood test, X-rays etc.)
Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
Maintain accurate records and schedules.
Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention.
Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes
Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan
Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience.
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner state licensing required or Physician Assistant
Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
