A healthcare organization is seeking skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide advanced wound care services to patients in the Portland, OR area. This part-time role involves delivering care in patient homes and care facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Travel to patient residences, skilled nursing facilities, and adult care homes to provide advanced wound care services.
- Conduct thorough assessments, reach informed diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform advanced wound care techniques, including debridements, biologic patch applications, and Ultramist technology.
- Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Cultivate trust and compassion with patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Active and valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Board certification is required.
- Willingness to travel within the Portland, OR area.
- Commitment to providing high-quality wound care services.
- Must be willing to travel for initial training (out-of-state travel required).
- DEA license is not required.
Position Details:
- Role: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) – 1099 Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Part-time (2–3 days per week; 8-hour workdays)
- Patient Load: Up to 13 patients per week
Training Program:
- Week 1: Virtual orientation and EMR training.
- Weeks 2 & 3: In-person training with an Advanced Wound Care Trainer (travel required).
- Compensation during training: $50/hour.
