    Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

    About the Role

    Hilltop Primary Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Pike County, Kentucky. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and make a lasting impact on the health of the community.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health screenings

    Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

    Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans

    Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests

    Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice

    Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, treatment options, and long-term health management

    Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

    Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

    Qualifications

    Active and unrestricted Kentucky APRN license

    Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner

    Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one

    Primary care, family medicine, or related clinical experience preferred

    Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

    A genuine commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care
