Responsibilities: · Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review patient medical histories. · Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging, EKGs). · Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. · Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines. · Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment adherence, and healthy lifestyle habits. · Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR. · Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. · Provide follow-up care as appropriate, including telehealth check-ins and home visits. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and participate in continuing education. · Uphold compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and organizational standards.
· Education: Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. · Licensure: Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan. · Certification: Board certified (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA). · Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice preferred. · Skills: · Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic abilities. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · High attention to detail and organizational skills. · Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach. · Ability to work independently and manage a flexible per diem schedule.
