About the Role:

Join Druid Hills Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner in Atlanta, GA, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of our community. We are open to part time or full time. Ideally this would be a long term position but also open to short term as well. We are a busy primary care practice in Atlanta. Each practitioner sees about 15 primary care patients a day.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.

Administer medications and provide patient education on treatment options.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Participate in continuous education to stay current with medical advancements.

Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives within the community.

Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.

Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
