    Pay: $40-$45 per hour

    Position Summary:

    The Nurse Recruiter In charge is responsible for overseeing and managing the full-cycle recruitment process for nursing staff, with a strong emphasis on sourcing qualified ICU nurses and other critical care professionals. Utilizing clinical expertise and recruitment experience, this role ensures the selection of competent, compassionate, and skilled nursing staff to support high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage the nursing recruitment team, ensuring timely and effective hiring for all nursing positions.

    Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of nursing personnel.

    Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, especially for ICU and critical care departments.

    Collaborate with Nursing Directors, Department Heads, and HR leadership to identify staffing needs and workforce planning goals.

    Review resumes, assess qualifications, and conduct interviews with a focus on clinical competencies, particularly in ICU and acute care settings.

    Maintain relationships with nursing schools, healthcare institutions, and professional associations to build a strong candidate pipeline.

    Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and state/federal regulations in the hiring process.

    Coordinate orientation programs for newly hired nurses and monitor their transition and performance during the probationary period.

    Track recruitment metrics, prepare reports, and analyze trends to improve hiring efficiency and retention.

    Stay updated on industry trends, wage benchmarks, and nursing workforce challenges to guide recruitment strategies.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred.

    Licensure: Valid RN license (State-specific).

    Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of ICU nursing experience and 2+ years of recruitment or nurse management experience.

    Skills:

    Strong understanding of clinical roles, particularly in critical care and ICU settings.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.

    Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
