JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR AN OPERATING ROOM NURSE

• Assess patients prior to surgery and ensure a sterile environment.
• Properly plan operations by having all supplies prepared.
• Prepare patients on the operating room table.
• Communicate with surgeons, passing instruments, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Proven experience as an operating room nurse (circulating and scrub).

OPERATING ROOM NURSE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 Years Experience
• ACLS, BLS Certifications
• Valid Texas registered nurse license (RN)
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new team and setting
• Desire to work in a fast-paced setting.
