Job Summary:
The Nursing Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily operations within the healthcare facility. This role involves leadership, staff supervision, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous improvement of patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices
Monitor patient care outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
Coordinate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams
Manage department budgets, resources, and inventory
Handle patient concerns and resolve issues effectively
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and quality standards
Lead staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous education programs
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree preferred
Valid nursing license (RN)
5+ years of clinical nursing experience
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
