Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As a Traveling RN, you will provide high-quality care to patients in diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments in various clinical environments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and established protocols.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Document patient interactions and care provided in accordance with facility policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Adapt to the unique needs and workflows of different healthcare facilities and patient populations.
- Participate in on-going education and training to maintain nursing licensure and enhance clinical skills.
- Travel to various locations as assigned, while providing consistent and compassionate care to all patients.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment; Multi-state (Compact) license is a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in clinical settings; experience in critical care, emergency, or specialized fields preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and a thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
