We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Nursing Staffing Scheduler to join our healthcare team in Jackson, Michigan. In this full-time night shift position, you will play a critical role in optimizing our organizational throughput by managing nursing staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage across all units. You will be responsible for coordinating with nursing leadership, analyzing staffing needs, and implementing scheduling solutions that support both operational efficiency and staff satisfaction.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive nursing staff schedules to meet organizational throughput objectives and patient care requirements
• Analyze staffing patterns, workload data, and operational metrics to identify scheduling gaps and optimization opportunities
• Coordinate with nursing managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly
• Utilize scheduling software and workforce management systems to create efficient, compliant schedules
• Monitor schedule adherence and address conflicts or coverage issues in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare staffing reports and analytics to support management decision-making and performance tracking
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to nursing staff in a clear and professional manner
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, union agreements, and organizational scheduling policies
• Respond to staffing emergencies and last-minute changes while maintaining schedule integrity
• Collaborate with human resources and payroll departments to ensure accurate time tracking and compensation
• Continuously evaluate scheduling processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and staff retention
