JOB SUMMARY:

NutriScience Innovations (NSI) is looking for a high-energy individual to join our Marketing Team. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator/Manager will work with the Marketing, Science/Innovation & Sales teams to: (a) assist in the management of marketing projects and campaigns, (b) maintain & execute upon our marketing calendar and (c) support new product commercialization initiatives to bring new products to market.

In this role, it is essential to have a passion for our products, our business and the businesses we serve as we work to expand the footprint of our branded and unbranded ingredient lines. Beyond that we are looking for people who like to work hard, have fun doing it and who will bring a good sense of humor to our growing team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assist in the coordination of NutriScience’s marketing and events, providing support in the development, execution and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and marketing campaigns

-Oversee and organize multiple ongoing marketing projects to ensure the are completed accurately and on time

-Help manage and execute on our marketing calendar, including routine social media updates/postings, e-mail/newsletter campaigns, event coordination and other reoccurring activities

-Support new Product Commercialization Initiatives to help bring our new products to market; working with our Science and Sales Teams as well as our Customers to facilitate new product launches

-Help to manage NutriScience’s marketing collateral making sure it is properly filed and accessible to our team to use

-Support co-marketing initiatives, work with our sales team and customers to ensure successful product launches and provide ongoing marketing support

-Assist with the coordination of tradeshows and other events, overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating schedules, and ordering marketing collateral

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, writing, proofreading & creative skills
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Conscientiousness is a must. Candidates must have the ability to track tasks and “not forget” things that need to get done
• Extroversion and strong communication skills. Ability to write well via e-mail and communicate well over the telephone
• Self-motivated and a bias towards being proactive
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Must be able to manage several projects concurrently

Preferred:

• Experience with B2B marketing preferably related to functional ingredients or Dietary Supplements in any of the following industries: Nutritional & Dietary Supplements, Consumer Packaged Goods (specifically in Functional Food, Snacks & Beverages), Beauty, Personal Care or Cosmetics.
• Knowledge of Social Media Platforms, CRM systems and WordPress
• Copywriting and/or Graphic design experience is a plus
