    Job Description

    THIS POSITION IS IN SPARKS, NEVADA POSITION OVERVIEW:

    Reporting to the Manager, Warehouse Operations.  This position is to support Nutrisystem as boots on the ground in our Geodis 3PL Warehouse Network.  Monitor and correct workers engaged in picking, packaging, and storing Nutrisystem, Inc. foods.  Serves as Nutrisystem warehouse liaison for all 3rd party locations.  Focus is on daily operations of a pick, pack, ship operation, support continuous improvement initiatives, monitor and report on KPI’s, Inventory, replenishment activities, training and maintaining integrity of SOP’s as the business needs change.

    • Inspects warehouse facilities and equipment and recommends changes in allocation of space, and packaging procedures to supervisor.

    • Implements new operational policies and processes, with emphasis on inventory management, systems, and material handling equipment/assists in the creation and implementation of SOP’s 

    • Supports Nutrisystem Quality Assurance with process auditing as directed by QA

    • Supports Nutrisystem Quality Assurance with product inspections as directed by QA

    • Reviewing and following-up on results of production

    • Supports training of all 3rd party employees on Nutrisystem requirements

    • Implements continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervisor

    • Ensures all Nutri weekly/monthly reporting is being done in accordance with business needs.

    • Assists in weekly cycle counts and annual PI 

    • Monitors and reports on KPI’s of 3rd party and adherence to service level agreements and modifications needed to ensure they are consistently met.

    • Assists in productivity assessments in conjunction with 3PL 

    • Jointly responsible for all three pieces of the Perfect Order Index which include substitution rates, order accuracy and on time shipping. Current POI goal is 95%.

    • Maintains packaging materials and proper usage such as dry ice, corrugate, coolers and other packing materials.

    • Inspection of orders and understanding and review of G _ audit system and processes 

    • Supports Nutrisystem Quality Assurance with Root Cause Analysis of order errors when the order accuracy falls below KPI

    • Review equipment logs daily to ensure NS assets are being properly cleaned and kept

    • Requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of entire fulfillment processes 

    • Issues weekly reports to keep Nutrisystem leadership informed

    • Other duties as needed to support the business

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • HS Diploma required
    • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, or related area preferred
    • 3-5 years’ experience in S3PL/warehousing/production environment. 
    • Work efficiently and effectively in a warehouse/production environment to create and implement solutions
    • Ability to analyze data to determine root causes, reconciliation procedures, and preventative measures
    • Display a high level of written and verbal communications with internal departments and 3PL network

    COMPUTER SKILLS:                                          

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft office suite, Order Processing Systems, Excel Spreadsheets, and Word Processing.
