    Tri-Valley, Inc. is seeking a caring, organized, and community-minded individual to coordinate the daily operations of our Meals on Wheels Nutrition Center in Franklin. This role plays a vital part in ensuring older adults receive nutritious meals and meaningful social connection through home-delivered services.

    ** Position Summary** :

    The Nutrition Center Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily functions of the meal site, supervising volunteers and drivers, and ensuring compliance with food safety and program guidelines.

    ** Key Responsibilities** :

    • Manage daily meal site operations including taking reservations, ordering meals and supplies, and monitoring food waste.
    • Maintain accurate records and submit required reports in a timely manner.
    • Recruit, train, schedule, and recognize volunteers and paid drivers.
    • Oversee and perform the safety and cleanliness of the site and enforce proper food handling procedures.
    • Gather consumer feedback and coordinate the annual food satisfaction survey.
    • Follow protocol for wellness checks on Meals on Wheels consumers as necessary.
    • Communicate effectively with consumers, nutrition staff, supervisor, caterers, and host agency personnel to report issues such as delivery problems, food temperature concerns, or other incidents.
    • Ensure adequate coverage by maintaining a pool of trained substitutes and be willing to provide support at other sites when necessary.
    • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and supervision.
    • Represent Tri-Valley professionally while fostering positive relationships with consumers, staff, volunteers, and the host agency.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    ** Qualifications & Skills**:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone, and email).
    • Ability to coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments.
    • Comfort with basic math and recordkeeping.
    • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
    • Reliable and punctual with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced setting.
    • Willingness to learn delivery routes and train volunteers.
    • Problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.

    ** Requirements** :

    • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
    • Satisfactory motor vehicle driving record.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain detailed records.
    • Regular and reliable attendance.

    ** Physical & Work Environment Demands**:

    • Frequent standing and walking.
    • Must be able to carry or push up to 40 lbs.
    • Occasional driving, including meal delivery to consumers.
    • Basic computer use required.
