    Location: Hayward (Hybrid) Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Department: Procurement & Supply Chain Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $23 – $27/hr, based on experience

    The Lunch Master is seeking motivated students or recent graduates pursuing degrees in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or related fields to support our menu development and nutritional data management work. This is a paid internship with flexible scheduling and the option to work onsite at our Hayward facility or fully remote, depending on your availability and class commitments.

    Role Summary Nob Hill Catering DBA The LunchMaster is the pioneer in preparing and distributing high quality meals to local schools. The LunchMaster has worked successfully with 100+ Bay Area, Central Valley and Los Angeles schools for more than 20 years to provide delicious, nutritious meals that kids and adults like, eat and enjoy.

    As a Nutrition & Menu Development Intern, you will help ensure the accuracy and quality of the nutritional information that supports the meals we serve to K–12 schools. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-world foodservice operations, menu planning, nutrient analysis, and compliance with state and federal school meal standards.

    Key Responsibilities •Assist in building and updating our nutritional database (ingredients, allergens, nutrientprofiles). •Support menu development, including recipe development and menu cycle updates. •Review vendor product information and verify nutrition labels. •Collaborate with our Chief Operations Office and Registered Dietitian to ensure menuaccuracy and consistency.

    What We’re Looking For •Current student or recent grauate in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Public Health,or related field. •Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets or nutrition software. •Interest in K–12 foodservice, school wellness, or community nutrition. •Ability to work 10 hours per week, flexible around your course schedule. •Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
