    As the first face our patients see, we are looking for a dependable and responsible individual who can keep the front desk running smoothly. Must have an energetic, team player attitude with a focus on excellent customer service! Customer service and a positive attitude is of upmost importance in this role. We can train any candidate for this role, but a positive genuine attitude with our customers can not be taught.....it must be a core characteristic. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing an exceptional experience for our patients and referring offices. Responsibilities: • Greet, check in, check out patients and direct them appropriately • Schedule new patients/existing patients and/or work with patient's to reschedule existing appointments to better suit the patient or clinicians needs • Answer and route phone calls in a professional manner; provide answers when possible an personalize call contents to the patient • Communicate respectfully and efficiently with all team members regarding the patient portal or phone call requests/questions • Document communication appropriately in the EHR • Assist patients with completely necessary forms via an iPad upon check in • Ensures all patient demographics and insurance information is documented correctly in the EHR • Checks patients in and out of the clinic • Check fax box on a daily/regular basis to check for incoming new patient referrals and documentation requests. Distributes these documents accordingly. • Maintains front lobby cleanliness and stocks supplies in the front lobby and front desk reception area. • Orders general office supplies when necessary, to include front lobby refreshments. Qualifications: • High School Diploma/GED • 2 years of customer service required, hospital or outpatient clinical office (required) • Knowledge of medical terminology • Knowledge of patient medical insurance policies and procedures • Family practice, pain management or surgery scheduling experience preferred • Medical Assistant experience preferred • EHR Knowledge and experience scheduling via an EHR is Required Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
