    About the Position: Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in groundwater management. This individual will play a crucial role in developing, planning, and implementing groundwater projects, ensuring sustainable and efficient use of underground water resources. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hydrology, environmental engineering, and water resource management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead and manage groundwater projects, including aquifer recharge, groundwater modeling, and contamination remediation.
    2. Conduct thorough hydrogeological assessments and develop innovative solutions for groundwater management.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental scientists, geologists, and policy makers, to develop integrated water resource strategies.
    4. Oversee and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to groundwater use and conservation.
    5. Provide technical expertise and guidance on groundwater-related issues to both internal teams and clients.
    6. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and technical documents related to groundwater projects.
    7. Mentor and guide junior engineers and staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on groundwater management.
    • Strong background in hydrology, groundwater modeling, and environmental impact assessments.
    • Proficient in using engineering software and tools related to groundwater analysis.
    • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
