They are revolutionizing the brick and mortar retail space by adding digital products to advance brand loyalty, computer vision check out products via mobile services, endless isles, last mile delivery, subscription products, and more! They are building the “Shopify” for the retailer with a series of SDKs and APIs.
About the position:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to work with their retailer platform with a focus on mobile applications, APIs and SDKs. The retailers platform enables retailers to build engaging shopper experiences that allow them to compete with eCommerce giants like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and more. The successful candidate will have a balance to be both tactical and strategic around product management. They will balance their drive to deliver beautiful experiences with the complexities of the grocery and retail space.
What are the requirements for the position?
5+ years of industry experience managing technical products with a mix of SDK, API, and user experience elements
3+ years of product experience managing APIs or SDKs with public and private consumers
Demonstrated ability to define the roadmap and product plan for platform components that include technical platform and user experience requirements
Proven ability to collaborate with senior engineers and architects to define engineering architecture and influence engineering platform decisions to ensure product requirements are realized
Excellent, clear, and concise technical writing skills include a proven track record for authoring externally facing API documentation
Excellent communication skills with an ability to quick understand and moderate difficult technical conversations to ensure product outcomes
The ideal candidate will also have:
Have a mix of user experience, client-side API and SDK, and service-side API product experience
Demonstrated success launching and scaling platform products with public APIs, SDKs
