    A distinguished and top 100 AmLaw firm is actively seeking an exceptional Equity Partner to establish and lead the Employment Law Practice in Denver, Colorado. This critical position is aimed at an accomplished attorney with a deep expertise in employment law, a proven track record of building successful practices, and a strategic vision for developing a thriving and dynamic team in a collaborative setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Practice Establishment: Initiate and oversee the Employment Law Practice, setting strategic goals, practice development, and cultivating client relationships. The role involves creating business plans to build and expand the practice area, ensuring they align with the firm's broader strategic goals.
    • Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of employment law specialists, promoting an environment of excellence, innovation, and professional growth. The Equity Partner will be responsible for team dynamics, performance management, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and high achievement.
    • Client Advocacy: Deliver expert legal counsel in a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to workplace discrimination, employment agreements, compliance issues, and dispute resolution. This entails hands-on involvement in significant cases, crafting legal strategies, leading negotiations, and representing clients in both litigation and advisory capacities.
    • Business Development: Propel the growth of the practice through network leveraging, identifying new business opportunities, and elevating the firm's profile within the legal and business communities. The Equity Partner will play a crucial role in marketing efforts, thought leadership, and developing client relationships.
    • Firm Leadership: Work collaboratively with other practice area leaders to offer comprehensive legal services to clients. As a member of the firm's leadership, contribute to firm-wide strategy, policy development, and decision-making processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Colorado.
    • At least 10 years of substantial experience in employment law, with a notable track record in leading teams and managing a robust book of business.
    • Demonstrated capability in practice area development, strategic planning, and business development.
    • Exceptional legal skills, including analytical, negotiation, and advocacy capabilities, evidenced by a history of successful outcomes in employment law matters.
    • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and the broader legal community.
    • A commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethical integrity, and promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
