What’s the purpose of this position?

As an Engineering Team Lead, you will be leading a team of engineers responsible for building the scalable platforms that serve as the foundations of the systems at their core of a suite of products.

You will be responsible for developing frameworks used to generate client facing screens and the back-end services handling the business logic of those products.

You will be responsible for developing scalable and reliable backend services and provide a UX flawless experience in terms of responsiveness, ease of use and functionality.

You will be closely coordinating and working with multiple development, product and Client Services teams.

These products will reach billions of users across the world.

What are the core responsibilities of the position?

• Be responsible for mentoring, coaching and leading a team of 2-4 engineers.

• Perform, design, code reviews, and guide engineers to create state of the art software.

• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and operate robust micro-services built with .Net Core and Java integrated with Salesforce, databases, internal APIs and additional systems.

• Develop client side components using Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, and NodeJs

• Continuously analyze the entire user configuration system flow to define and implement system improvements that for increased scale, stability, and ease of future feature development

• Learn the ad tech industry as a whole, understand the business needs of each new feature, collaborating with product owners and end users to achieve the desired behaviors.

• Design, develop, and document APIs to be used by partners and other development teams.

• Work in continuous development and integration cycles by utilizing a micro-frontend and microservices backend architectures with automated packaging and deployments.

• Work in a fast paced, agile environment, collaborating with team members and Product Managers on a daily basis and participating in product meetings.

What are we ideally looking for?

• Love what you do and are passionate about crafting clean code and have a steady foundation

• 5+ years of programming experience in coding

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role including mentoring team members (2+ years preferred)

• At least 3 years of experience programming in C# or Java.

• At least 2 years of experience working with Angular and JavaScript

• Experience working with relational databases, including schema design and data analysis

• Experience with building fully automated CI/CD pipelines for front and back end components

• Experience with REST APIs and web-based API’s

• Excellent communication skills and a team player
