    Director of People Operations

    The role of the Director of People Operations, reporting directly to the CEO, involves spearheading the development and execution of human resources strategy, aligning with the business's strategic direction. This encompasses talent management, change management, organizational design, performance management, employee relations, and compensation. The incumbent provides strategic leadership by articulating Human Resource needs and devising actionable plans for the leadership team.

    What will you do?

    • \- Execute and oversee policies and programs that embody the organization's mission and values, supporting company goals, achieving objectives, and fostering positive workforce engagement.
    • \- Offer senior management guidance on staff matters, encompassing coaching, performance improvement plans, and identification of subpar performance.
    • \- Provide assistance in organizational changes, restructuring, and change management initiatives.
    • \- Ensure the fulfillment of strategic workforce planning and staffing objectives.
    • \- Address employee relations issues, such as complaints, harassment/discrimination allegations, and civil rights complaints.
    • \- Uphold up-to-date subject matter knowledge in federal and state employment laws, advising leadership on human resources issues and evolving organizational needs.
    • \- Enhance HR operations, streamlining core processes throughout the employment life cycle, including onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, timekeeping, compensation, benefits, and training.
    • \- Furnish general counsel and direction on the performance management process; coordinate and ensure completion of the annual talent review process.
    • \- Conduct regular HR audits to assure compliance with policies and procedures.
    • \- Modify compensation policies and benefit programs, communicating changes to employees.
    • \- Update employee handbooks and departmental procedures.
    • \- Safeguard HR-related data, ensuring compliance with company policies and privacy regulations, and deliver required reporting and filings.

    What are we looking for?

    • \- Possess 7 to 10 years of prior experience in a human resources leadership role, preferably in financial services, IT, or Fintech.
    • \- Demonstrate previous HR Generalist experience.
    • \- Exhibit exceptional employee relations skills, creating a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and rapport-building.
    • \- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations, necessitating coordination with other departments.
    • \- Strongly prefer multi-state experience.
    • \- Showcase strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • \- Possess excellent judgment and the ability to make quick decisions.
    • \- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
    • \- Show acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
    • \- Prefer experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
    • \- Ability to travel up to 10%.
