Currently, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Consultant to be the subject matter expert on Google Cloud Platform for a managed services project in San Francisco. Their client is one of the world's largest enterprise CRMs in the world. They are migrating their core infrastructure and applications to GCP for a very important customer they will be on-boarding. This role will help guide the transition of a massive transition. We're open to W2 & 1099 expert consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent

• Experience in Google Cloud Platform services beyond basic provisioning

• Engineering experience in building production infrastructure using code and repeatable designs

• Experience with Windows and Linux systems in public clouds such as Azure, GCP and AWS

• Experience developing solutions using automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, System Center

• Experience with container technology (Docker) and orchestration platforms such as ECS, Kubernetes, Mesos and/or Swarm

• Expert skills in developing automation for Terraform or infrastructure provisioning tools

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience evolving to Agile development lifecycles

• Knowledge of networking and software defined networking in cloud environments

• Ability to articulate complex architectures to non-technical audiences

• Ability to document solutions and train operational teams on supportability

Preferred:

• Experience in contributing to Open Source projects and representing specific needs to distributed development community

• Experience in automation of code deployment across multiple cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare and OpenStack
