We are actively looking for Platform Engineers to join our client who's an independent development studio and a publishing gaming studio. This means that they’re able to develop their own games and ship them on their own timeline without the shackles of another company. They’re extremely family-first, meaning that they understand that folks have lives outside of their day to day job. Yet, that doesn’t stop that from shipping massive AAA projects that are loved around the world.

This position is going to be responsible for the design and development of their platform services using Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, and other online services. They’re going to help implement internal API’s and tools to support their backend services to ship quality games. Ideally, you’d worked in a C++ oriented environment with other OOP languages to build services.

What are the details on the job? 

• Design, develop, and extend robust platform services using Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, and other online services

• Collaborate with teams to create and maintain online components and features.

• Implement internal API’s and tools to support our backend services

• Maintain and improve build and release management systems

• Analyze and optimize code for speed and memory usage

• All other duties as assigned

The minimum requirements for the position: 

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Excellent C++ programming and debugging skills

• Experience with C# and .NET Core

• One or more shipped titles with relevant experience

• Knowledge of build automation and release management systems

• Proactive, detail oriented, autonomous and self-motivated

Extra brownie points for folks with the following: 

• Experience integrating with third party APIs and web services

• Experience developing on PS4 and Xbox One

• Experience with Javascript/VueJS or SQL

• Unreal Engine experience
