A prestigious and top 100 AmLaw firm is on the lookout for an innovative Equity Partner to establish and lead the Intellectual Property Practice, with a focus on trademark and copyright law, in Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities:

• Practice Launch and Development: Initiate and direct the Intellectual Property Practice, focusing on trademark and copyright law. The role includes strategic planning, practice development, and nurturing client relationships. The Equity Partner will be tasked with drafting and executing business plans aimed at establishing and expanding the practice area, aligning with the firm's strategic objectives.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and manage a specialized team of intellectual property attorneys and support staff, promoting an ethos of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth. The Equity Partner will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, team performance, and cultivating a workplace culture that values inclusivity and peak performance.
• Expert Client Representation: Offer top-tier legal representation in all aspects of trademark and copyright law, providing sophisticated advice and creative solutions to complex legal challenges. Responsibilities include direct involvement in significant cases, strategizing, leading negotiations, and representing clients before courts and administrative bodies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Colorado.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in intellectual property law, with a strong emphasis on trademark and copyright matters. A substantial track record of leading teams and managing a significant portfolio of business is highly desirable.
• Proven ability in developing a practice area, including strategic planning, team building, and business development.
