    About the position:

    Our client is looking to add a Patent Associate to their Life Sciences Division. This team is one of the top Patent Prosecution Teams in the world. The role requires someone that has a PhD (or MD) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, oncology, or a related field. Post-doctoral experience is desirable but not required. Member of the California, Washington State, New York, or Washington D.C. Bar required (admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the work is being performed is required). A USPTO registration number, superior academic credentials, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills a must.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 1+ year of experience as a Patent Prosecution, preferably at a law firm, focused on life sciences.
    • USPTO registered
    • Superior Academic Credentials; PhD (or MD) in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, oncology, or a related field.

    Compensation: $235,000 - $390,000

    The base salary for a role depends on the applicant's qualifications, experience, education, certifications or licenses, and job location. Eligible employees may receive a performance-based discretionary bonus. More information on benefits and bonuses is available upon request.
