Duties and Responsibilities:

The IP and Business attorney will provide a very high level of legal strategy and advice to the Firms clients, using their experience to focus on copyright, trademark, SaaS and transactional matters, contract review and drafting, will lead negotiations of disputes, and provide big-picture counsel. This is a full-time (approx. 40 hours/week), remote employee position with flexible hours. You will be responsible for:

• Providing timely and accurate documents, contracts, strategy, and legal advice
• Ensuring that all copyright and trademark filings, legal documents, and correspondence have been thoroughly researched, drafted, reviewed and revised in a timely manner pursuant to client deadlines and in accordance with AWB Firm standards of practice
• Providing counsel to our clients via multiple media (primarily email and Zoom video calls), including conducting legal audits to identify areas of potential risk (Legal Road Map® sessions)
• Representing our clients in dispute negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings

Meeting quarterly billable hour requirement (360 billable hours per quarter) While we expect our billable team members will hit a specified number of billable hours each quarter, we do not expect team members to work over 40 hours per week.
