    Senior Technical Artist

    Drifter Entertainment is an indie studio with 40 team members, & they're growing a team focused on their UE4, PC/Console project. Superior a co-op, roguelite, third-person shooter where all the superheroes have turned into evil abominations. The players will explore a sprawling stylized universe through multiple biomes and missions.  With founder members of this studio coming from the legendary games of shooter games lore; Doom, Halo, Gears of War, & Destiny, the studio is looking to add more people to this remote-based team. 

    As a Senior Technical Artist at Drifter, you'd be working on the art team to craft leading content, and provide pipeline support that could be anything from shading, rigging, or environments. Drifter wants to find people looking for a chance to work virtually elbow to elbow in the gaming industry, want to work in a nimble, quick-driven,  & efficient , and bring a new world to new generations of gamers. 


    What are the responsibilities of the role?

    •  Work with the art team to craft industry-leading content.
    • Create and communicate technical art guidelines across the project
    • Develop tools to expedite content development
    • Content creation across the project, including rendering and .
    • Development and management art pipelines.
    • Organize and drive optimization efforts across the art team

    What are the minimum requirements?

    • Portfolio and reel demonstrating a deep understanding of real-time content creation.
    • Extensive experience in content creation tools, such as Maya, Zbrush, etc
    • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages.
    • 5+ Years of experience in AAA game development.
    • Strong proficiency in UE4, mainly rendering, and blueprint.
