Position Overview: Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Licensed Land Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various survey types, including boundary, topographic, route, legal/sketches, plat, easements, and construction. This role requires both office-based tasks and occasional field visits for quality assurance and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee office and field crew staff.
- Perform quality assurance/quality control field reviews.
- Prepare proposals and assist field associates and drafting personnel.
- Ensure the production of quality and timely deliverables.
- Provide training to field and office staff on specific methods and procedures.
- Promote a professional and collaborative work environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of the surveying and mapping industry in Florida for both design and construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Terramodel and QGIS 3.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Preferred experience with LiDar, Geospatial, and Robotics technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- State of Florida PSM license.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a drug test (Drug-Free Workplace).
Compensation:
- Salary: $115,600 - $131,600, depending on experience.
