    Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, filing, and managing tax returns for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, LLCs, corporations, and non-profit organizations. The role demands a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals, LLCs, corporations, and non-profits. Ensure all tax documents are filed in a timely and efficient manner.
    2. Tax Research and Planning: Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations. Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
    3. Client Consultation: Offer expert advice on tax-related matters to clients. Address client inquiries regarding tax returns, deductions, and liabilities.
    4. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Maintain detailed records for all tax-related transactions and correspondences.
    5. Audit Support: Assist in tax audits by preparing necessary documents and responses. Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth and compliant audit process.
    6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial records and reports to identify tax savings opportunities and areas of risk.
    7. Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members and departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
    8. Client Education: Educate clients on tax-saving strategies and best practices for financial management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and filing, with a strong focus on different types of entities (individuals, LLCs, corporations, non-profits).
    • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
