About the Role: Our client is a boutique litigation law firm specializing in personal injury defense, is actively seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Defense Attorney to join their team in Atlanta. This hybrid position requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to defending medical professionals against malpractice claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to doctors, nurses, dentists, and other medical professionals in medical malpractice cases.
- Handle all phases of civil litigation from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and trial.
- Develop defense strategies and advise clients on the best course of action.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including associates, partners, nurses, secretaries, and paralegals.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed and involved in their case.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in the state of Georgia.
- 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on medical malpractice defense.
- Strong litigation skills, including experience in trial preparation and execution.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a highly collaborative workplace culture.
- Willingness to be in-office for at least 3 days a week.

- The current team is comprised of 18 professionals, including 4 associates, 3 partners, 3 nurses, 3 secretaries, and 3 paralegals, all working collaboratively to achieve success.
Billable Hours Requirement:
- The attorney is expected to meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1,950 hours.
