We are actively looking for a Vice President of Engineering for a leading eCommerce and Entertainment Company.

The VP of Engineering will lead, manage, and inspire the software engineering teams that span multiple areas of the end to end DTC OTT platform including cloud-based video workflows, AI/ML based personalization for driving engagement & monetization.

An ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to deliver a true multi-tenant platform. They build for scale, develop technologies with a long-term outlook, build trust with their engineering team & people from all areas of the business, and have a proven track record. This leader takes end-to-end ownership and consistently delivers results in a fast-paced environment. They are a leader that the team loves to work with because they inspire, develop, and care for their team members.

Responsibilities:

• Lead talented Engineering, Data Science, and Quality Engineering teams; direct Engineering and Product Delivery efforts.
• Leverage your experience and leadership to transform existing functions to drive consistency and efficiency through your strategies and management.
• Balance a high quality, high output engineering mindset with the demands of a high growth enterprise cloud business.

Requirements:

• You have a minimum of 10+ years of progressive engineering management experience.
• You have a minimum of 8+ years in hands-on software development roles.
• Proven track record of building high-performance teams and institutionalizing a strong development culture.
• Experience with multiple programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, etc.
• Experience with Web Technologies.
• Experience with test automation in CI/CD environment.
• Experience working with an international team spread across multiple locations
