    Job Description

    YOU WILL:

    • Me involved in deep dives/focus groups to solve issues
    • Job shadow and rotations in various departments
    • Take part in grievance process/meetings, labor Management meetings, disciplinary meetings, JAC meetings, 2021 National Labor Management Meeting, 2022 master labor negotiations, annual compensation cycle (merit, STI), absence management process, talent and succession planning, performance Connection, Learning & Development, mentorship/COE’s, HR Operations
    • Learn and then own or coordinate job postings process, open enrollment, quarterly plant wide meetings, recruiting activities such as scheduling and coordinating interviews, manning index, new hire orientation and on-boarding, administration of Supervisor test, coordination of Apprenticeship testing, engagement survey

    MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE. 

    For the first 12 months you will work closely with a HR Manager in one of our U.S. manufacturing facilities. Upon completion of this initial assignment, you must be willing to relocate to broaden your depth of knowledge and understanding. For the second 12 months of this rotational program, you will work closely with a different HR Manager in one of our U.S. manufacturing facilities.

    Following the 24-month rotational trainee program, relocation will be expected. This relocation would be for a permanent role as a HR Generalist or HR Manager in another U.S. manufacturing location.

    Qualifications

    THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field of study. Human Resources degree preferred.
    • Prefer internship and/or co-op experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Strong communication, organization, planning and interpersonal skills
    • Computer literacy and proficiency
    • A strong interest and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
