About the role:

Owens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. seeks in Fairfield, CA to investigate quality related issues with the customer, sales, and manufacturing plant. Attend all quality product claims of our customers according to established procedure. Provide a pro-active service in order to anticipate customer needs. Assist and give technical support in test runs, first runs in plants and with the customer on filling lines. Detect areas of opportunity to improve the glass container functionality on the customer’s line and at the manufacturing plants. Audit and monitor inventories; monitor re-select/pack crews; comply with ISO 9001 standards; and enter and maintain information up to date in SAP.

Qualifications

About you:

Must have Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any), or related field, plus 3 years of experience in glass manufacturing. The 3 years of experience must include experience with quality assurance for glass containers, sampling methods, and filling process. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel required, to be reimbursed by employer. Up to 40% of travel required nationally and internationally based on project needs. In addition, standard benefits will be offered.

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours/week, 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri)

Additional Information

The expected salary for this position is $ $119,995.00 to $119,995.00 per year.
