  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Hourly rate: $26.44

    Schedule: Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm)

    The Raw Materials Unloader works in the Batch and Furnace Department.

    The Raw Materials Unloader will:

    • Unload, haul, and store cullet, as well as unload raw batch materials

    • Inspect mobile equipment and conveying equipment and report any issues

    • Haul cullet using mobile equipment to various areas of the plant and yard

    • Load cullet into the proper silos using mobile equipment, cullet crusher, and elevator systems

    • Clean multiple Batch and Furnace areas, the cullet yard, and equipment

    • Instruct truck drivers where to unload raw materials and ensure the materials are sent to the proper silo

    • Unload railcars and operate the rail car mover as needed

    The Raw Materials Unloader should have:

    • A strong background in measuring raw materials and reporting data
    • Experience inspecting and operating mobile equipment and using a Hi-Lift and front loader
    • Strong communication skills and ability to escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
